SERP Preview & Meta Tag Generator
Preview your page title and description in desktop and mobile search layouts. Generate and copy HTML meta tags, entirely in your browser.
Page details
Private by design. No uploads, processing requests, external fonts, or saved input.
Search result preview
Illustrative preview, not a live Google result. Google may choose a different title, description, site name, or layout based on the query and device. Nothing here predicts rankings.
Generated HTML
Place these tags inside your page’s <head>. In WordPress, use your SEO plugin’s title and description fields when available. Avoid adding duplicate tags.
Write a useful first impression
Use a specific title and a concise description that accurately reflect the page. Check the preview at both sizes, then review the actual page to make sure the message matches its content.
Is there a fixed title or description length?
Google does not set a fixed character limit for title elements or meta descriptions. Results are shortened to fit the available layout. Wide characters take more space than narrow ones, so this tool shows character counts and an approximate unwrapped title width. Neither is a ranking score.
How is truncation estimated?
The preview uses local Arial or a sans-serif fallback, with a one-line desktop title and a two-line mobile title. Descriptions use two desktop lines or three mobile lines. The fit indicators describe this preview only. On a narrow screen the desktop card also narrows to fit, and its available width is shown.
Why does Google show different text?
Google generates title links from several sources and usually creates snippets from page content, sometimes using the meta description. Your generated tags express your preferences; they do not force a particular search appearance.
Can this tool read my website URL?
No. The URL is parsed locally for display and optional canonical output. The tool does not fetch the page, verify ownership, check HTTP status, or measure indexing or rankings. User text is never executed or stored.
